Works well
Direct links ending in .gif, .mp4, .webm or .webp, pages from sites that publish their GIFs in standard page data, and Giphy page links.
Paste a link to a GIF, or to a public page that has one, and save it in its original quality. Preview before you download, then edit or convert it right here if you want a different format.
Only save GIFs and videos you made, have permission to use, or that are free to reuse. The person who made a GIF still owns it. Subscription streaming sites are blocked, and you can report anything that shouldn't be here.
Only download GIFs and videos you own, that are licensed for your use, or that you have permission to use.
You don't need an app or an account. The converter fetches the page you give it, looks for GIFs and short videos in it, and checks each candidate before listing it, so you only see real, playable files.
Many sites show you a GIF that is really a short video. If that's what you get, you can download it as it is, or press Edit to trim it and turn it back into a GIF, WebP or smaller MP4.
Copy the address of the GIF, or of the page it appears on, from your browser's address bar or the share menu.
Paste it into the box and press Find GIFs. A page can take a few seconds to read.
Each result shows a live preview with its type and size, so you can pick the right one.
Download it as it is, or press Edit to trim, crop, add a caption or change the format.

Image boards, forums, blogs and galleries. It depends on how each site publishes its media, so try the page link first and the direct link if nothing is found.
Posts on X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and anything behind a login. These build their pages with scripts and restrict automated access.
Private, paid or protected content. The tool only reads public pages, from public internet addresses, and does not bypass access controls.
Paste the link and keep a copy in its original quality, rather than a re-compressed screenshot.
Many sites serve GIFs as short MP4s. Pick the MP4 for a much smaller file, or Edit it to make your own GIF.
If you published a GIF on a page of your own, this retrieves it without hunting through folders.

Copy the address of the GIF, or of the page it is on, paste it into the box and press Find GIFs. Every GIF or short video found is shown with a preview. Press Download on the one you want.
Direct links to a GIF, MP4, WebM or WebP always work. For pages, it reads the media the page publishes in the standard places (social-preview tags, image and video elements, and embedded page data) and checks that each file really is a GIF or video before showing it. Giphy page links are recognised directly. Pages that need a login, or that only build their content with scripts, can't be read, which includes most posts on X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
GIFs are creative works, and most belong to someone. Saving one for your own private use is usually fine, but sharing, republishing or selling it may need the owner's permission. Only download content you own, that is licensed for your use, or that you have permission to use.
The page may need a login, may be blocking automated access, or may load its GIFs with scripts. Open the GIF itself in your browser, copy that address (it usually ends in .gif or .mp4) and paste it instead.
Many sites serve their GIFs as short silent videos because they are far smaller. If both are found, the GIF is listed first. You can also send the video to the converter with the Edit button and turn it into a GIF.
